This past weekend was an eye opener and a catalyst to many discoveries that took place in my Cape Town visit. I went to redeem myself and promised to repent from my ways which were none satisfactory and was the bane in my almost lost relationship. After damage control and much convincing and ice melting we merged as better halves and more like husband and wife after therapy. We reconciled our differences and went as far as talking and sorting out our finances. What irritates my better half more than anything is how I go about using money; not to say that I spend on worthless things but he hates the debt trace I leave behind (I figure he knows in the end of the day he has to clean up behind me). There is a difference in how we were brought up, his family is more privileged than mine and depend not on him.
