You & Me

Looking up at the morning sky, I stand fixated in complete awe studying the artistry of shapes and patterns that blanket our usually clear blue sky and I ask myself, What would it take to get the sun to shine a little? What would it take to get these moist pompous white and grey clouds to part in stubborn obedience to its piercing darts of white light unveiling its magnificence?

But yet the rain poured, pampering this hardened crust of black exterior forged over time. This unexplainable thing we call life. Its blood thirst never quenching or relenting, sipping off any liquid substance left in me, crafting ever so finely this rigid frame.

What it leaves behind is but a mold of what it would lay claim to as being its creator. You see, life is but a consequence of time on a journey with its loyal companion You & Me. It is master of all for even with you or me it as existed before either of us and continues to stray onward undeterred into the lives of those that will subsequently succeed You or Me.

The lessons it teaches each of us vary simply because it never strolls the same path twice. You see, there's no fun in seeing things the way they were but rather the fun lies in the ever changing scenery of the forest as season change, time passes swiftly by. Intangible, Invisible and Untamable.

The story of life can be related to a puppet show for we all know that in both exist an unseen force, time and its puppets, You & Me. For because the illusion is given that the puppets have minds of their own, an applaud is given to them when it makes "intellectual" pronunciations or gestures humorous sighs causing the bellies of its audience to rumble out, emitting sounds of cheer and laughter. For it is because they fail to recognize the master, that sobs and tears are heard and seen whenever the puppets can not dance no more or the audience too grieved to dance to their sad tunes and grooves.

It is only the puppet master that remains, untouched, for like with every story worth telling happy and sad are best told of in the same breath. I mean, would honey be as sweet if lemon was not so bitter? Would winter night colds be if summer days did not breathe hot flames? Would falling in love feel so good if being alone did not hurt so much?

You and I have both tasted it but its bitter taste made us reject it. Yes love does have a bitter sweet taste. It is not always butterflies and roses. It at times hurts or mistrusts or even bleeds. It's like a scavenger that would persist until you either give in or give up.

What would you do if your past experiences with love all hurt but then along comes a stranger that seems unreal and too good to be true? Would you be skeptic or would you embrace the darkness he carries with him? As you ponder on the answers to my questions keep these few words in remembrance.

"It is in a friend that you'll find the secrets of life. It is with a companion that you'll unearth and unravel its treasures and discover it true value and meaning."

You and I may be differently shaped, but that should suffer us no real consequence. The essence of you being you and I being I is that of compatibility.

Where you were made hard, I was made soft or at least I will be. Your hands were made bigger than mine but only so you could reach into depths I could not possibly reach or dare to. My temper might be a bit Optus but only to shadow you in your time of weakness. My feet cover less ground so that the length of your journey may be prolonged. I braved entry into this world first but only so that it would remain safe for you to enter.

I am only complete when your lips meet mine with a tender kiss or your gaze inter-locks with mine or your hand grips well in mine. And only when our wild but passionate rhythmic dance subdues and we remain intertwined in each others arms. Fading nights into days as time passes on by

I can truly say…there will never be another YOU & ME

I once loved you and you loved me

Love Bella

Let the New Year begin Be grateful of 2009, may it been a lesson to you and your heart that there is good and there is evil Have the WILL to overlook your shadows and embrace your forefront My New Year’s Resolutions are: Conviction to change that will develop into determination and my determination will then transform into action If I was selfish I would be the happiest person standing Ask me no more of love because it has conquered me and diminished my existence as a free soul Let me walk and talk as though in a dream This year…Is not for me

Think again

May God show way and open your eyes to a better future… People are lost and led by the blind. Solutions: Vote for someone else on the poles rather than Mbeki or Zuma…vote for a president that will be not in scandals and someone who will bring unity and fresh ideas. These people do not have the power with out your vote. You hold the power to free us from all this shame. For almost a decade if not more, we have lived as a united/ rainbow nation with every one welcome and appreciated… and now, all of a sudden there are noticeable differences. All along you did not see the man next to you is from Zimbabwe and now they are in crisis all of a sudden you see an enemy. Fine let’s say- all the Zimbabweans go home as you wish…what then? Will you be able to provide the service that they provided? Will you be able to demote yourself and take an offer that you know very well that you are worth double the value? No, you won’t. I hope that we are aware that what we do has consequences; the blood you ...
